WORKSTYLES OF MILDRED'S LANE is a comprehensive series of books and short films about Mildred’s Lane, a project set deep in the Pennsylvania woods on the Upper Delaware River led by J. Morgan Puett. Mildred’s Lane encompasses a 93-acre landscape built by, with, and for family, friends, and colleagues using the principles and ethics of comportment. Organized around seventeen workstyles, this project reveals an original story of conceptually designed environments depicting bewildering agrarian landscapes, architecture, diagrams, maps, interiors, events, and people participating in an artist-driven educational exchange and collaboration. Complete with a poetic glossary of terms, WORKSTYLES OF MILDRED'S LANE reveals new practices of being.
