THE UNDOCUMENTED LAWYER tells the story of Lizbeth Mateo, an attorney who swore to uphold the Constitution. She’s also undocumented. When a client takes sanctuary in a church, Lizbeth’s own experience guides their fight for justice. The film's goal is to fight for justice for immigrants in the U.S. by supporting the fearless immigration lawyers defending them in court. The film has been screened at over 100 screenings with schools and organizations including the ACLU, The Latinx House, and the American Bar Association.
