CHILD ADVOCACY (working title) is a documentary short film that follows frontline workers against child abuse as they work tirelessly to help children and their families find healing and justice. With unprecedented access to non-profits in the Austin, Texas area, this film will provide an up-close, humanizing account of what it's like for those who dedicate their lives to this vulnerable population. By focusing on advocates as opposed to survivor stories, there's an opportunity to explore the challenging issue of child abuse through a unique lens that may be more accessible to many viewers.
