ROBERT AND JERRY is a documentary following the lives of Roberta Smith and Jerry Saltz - two prominent art critics completely devoted to art. The documentary will peel back the layers to reveal these two under-studied figures, whose ultimate goal is to inspire and teach, to champion and amplify art-making at the margins. Roberta and Jerry are champions of artists who don’t get recognized. It is said that their greatest influence is in creating awareness that opens the door for these artists on the margins to receive support.
