Native American Relief Fund

CAUSE: Human Rights

CATEGORY: Organization / Initiative

PROJECT DIRECTOR: Brandee Sabella

The Native American Relief Fund is a project of the MEWE Foundation, supporting Native American tribes with COVID test kits, healthcare services, and basic urgent home improvement needs for families. Persisting racial inequity and historical trauma have contributed to disparities in health and socioeconomic factors between the Native Americans and white populations that have adversely affected tribal communities. The Native American Relief Fund raises awareness and funds to create a sustainable center for personal development, life skills, job training, developing sustainable solutions to urgent problems, and restoring culture and traditions through education and programs.
