The Sun Ladies: Continuation of the Journey

THE SUN LADIES is a 7-minute long VR-documentary experience highlighting the female-only fighting unit in Sinjar, Iraq. It takes the viewer on an intimate and compelling journey through the lives of Yazidi women fighting ISIS in Iraq -- a group of fighters called The Sun Ladies. Since its release, THE SUN LADIES was featured at Sundance and SXSW in 2018, and won Best Documentary at WVRF 2018 and Audience Award at Hot Docs 2018.
