The Greyhound Diaries

CAUSE: Community Empowerment

CATEGORY: Music

PROJECT DIRECTOR: Doug Levitt

The Greyhound Diaries uses music as a way to share the journey of other struggling travelers. Singer-songwriter–and ex-foreign correspondent–Doug Levitt has traveled 15 years and 150,000 Greyhound miles, writing songs, collecting stories, and gathering images of fellow travelers struggling to get by. The Greyhound Diaries aims to foster connection, showcasing the trials and tribulations of life. In 2018, BBC produced a documentary about Doug's journey and his Greyhound diaries. This work is also on display at the Museum of Social Justice in Los Angeles.
