MARY'S WAY is a documentary film that centers on one girl's journey to help bring an end to female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage in her Kenyan community. The film follows the lives of girls rescued from FGM and early forced marriage, as well as the change-makers and activists in the surrounding communities. The goal of MARY's WAY is to document the frontlines of the battle for gender equality for all women in girls in Kenya and beyond. Once completed, the film will be screened with accompanying panels and discussions to further the conversation and action surrounding this global crisis.
