GET BRANDED OR DIE TRYIN'! is a comedic true detective mission to rebrand one of the most unpopular diseases in the world into the cool kid on the block... in hopes that patients can finally receive the research funding they deserve.
Chesley, the film's director, and her team of fellow sufferers journey across the country to identify the new brand name that best unifies 'long illnesses' like Long COVID, ME/CFS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Lyme and others under one banner. For decades, patients have been fragmented and unable to unite to fight.
On the hunt for coolness, the team discovers landmines of mystery along the way to brand reinvention. Interviewing Madison Avenue executives, celebrities, influencers, a navy seal and everyone in between. Can they find a name? Will it work?
