Soul Metaphors: The Art of Adlerian Early Memory Interpretation

CAUSE: Mental Health, Health & Wellness

CATEGORY: Film

PROJECT DIRECTOR: Ellen Alderton

"Soul Metaphors: The Art of Adlerian Early Memory Interpretation" is a documentary film following the life and legacy of pioneering psychiatrist Alfred Adler and his technique of early memory interpretation. According to Adler our earliest memories serve as metaphors for our innermost beliefs about life, and in exploring early memories, one can better understand one's sense of purpose. Yet Adler never published a full exposition of his early memory interpretation technique, and the technique was almost lost forever. "Soul Metaphors: The Art of Adlerian Early Memory Interpretation" explores the history and applications of Adler’s previously unpublished technique, opening the doors to deeper human understanding.
