Altadena Girls provides a safe communal space for social, emotional, and mental healing after a traumatic event.
Altadena Girls is a Community Center for girls who were affected by the Eaton Canyon fires in Altadena, CA. Altadena Girls was started by 14-year-old Avery Colvert as a free pop-up store providing the things that teen girls need to recover and regain a sense of normalcy after a traumatic event. The effort went super viral overnight and became the leading voice in girls' mental health and giving 'charity with dignity' - garnering 60K+ followers, more than half of a million dollars in donations, and the support of countless stars and influencers within the first 30 days of it's launch.
