Artist Maxi Cohen wonders, how does one discern between the inner voice of the divine and the inner voice of the willful ego? Thus the image, “Who’s Speaking? God or Ego”, was created. What started as Cohen's idea to use this question as a thought-provoking billboard has grown into an international art project of billboards and posters, along with a video she is producing in which spiritual leaders are asked how they make the discernment between the voice of god and the voice of their ego. This photographic expression of curiosity and humanity has impacted many and continues to in Cohen's endeavor to explore the role of the inner voice.
