Helps further the careers of its fellows by introducing them to film professionals who can advise them on both the craft and business of independent producing.
Seeking a documentary filmmaker or videographer residing in Monterey County, San Benito County, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, Santa Cruz County, or Ventura County to produce documentary films for the Central Coast Creative Corps program.
This is an independent contractor position, to be contracted by Arts Council for Monterey County (Arts4MC). The scope of work will include but is not limited to the production of two short films, one feature-length video, and a promotional reel. The videographer will work with designated artists and agencies throughout the region to conduct site visits and highlight the outcomes of working with artists to achieve social change.
Caters to Jewish artists who practice painting, drawing, sculpture, or mixed-media and all active, professional artists working in book arts who have exhibited within the last five years.
Funds artists focused on contemporary visual art living in one of the cities they are recruiting from. These cities include Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, North Carolina, Boston, Atlanta, and Houston.
Supports writers of bold, experimental, and/or large-scale new plays by giving theaters the ability to say “yes” instead of “no” to writer-driven projects perceived as especially challenging.
Our founder Kathy Eldon established the Dan Eldon Activist Award in partnership with the MY HERO Film Festival to honor her son– the visionary spirit behind Creative Visions. Annually, she presents this award to the filmmaker who most effectively utilizes media to inspire positive change in the world. Grants are given to film and media projects (or the organizations and networks backing them) focused on depicting themes of inequality.
