Creative Visions Foundation was founded by Dan Eldon's mother and sister, Kathy Eldon and Amy Eldon Turteltaub following his death in Mogadishu working as a photographer for Reuters News Agency in 1993. The foundation was formed to celebrate Dan Eldon and others like him who use their creativity as a means of positive social change.
Kathy Eldon and Michael Bedner

Kathy Eldon and Michael Bedner have asked that in lieu of a wedding present, they would be grateful for a donation to the Creative Visions Foundation, which will assist the foundation and its projects, including a Dan Eldon Fellowship for Journalists at Risk and the expansion of the Dan Eldon traveling exhibit, "Images of War, Celebrations of Peace".
