Join us on 10.10.10 for an unprecedented event.
Across the planet documentary filmmakers, students, and inspired citizens will document the human experience over a 24-hour period.
By participating in this historic event you will help capture the diversity of life on this planet. Together we will create a document that is a gift to the world. "One Day On Earth" is a participatory media project that will incorporate new technology in the realms of video sharing, geo tagging, and mobile capture in a mini hybrid social network with the goal to document humanity on a scale never before done. The result will be enriched, interactive narrative that will change the way movies
are made and experienced. The flagship of this project is a 120-minute documentary to
be released theatrically.
We are a international grass roots organization of over 200 filmmakers, software engineers, social activists founded by Alumni of
Lucasfilm, Cal Tech, and the MIT media lab./>
