CREATIVE ACTIVIST PARTNER PROGRAM
Latest Projects
Got a creative idea that you'd like to put into action? We may be able to help. The Creative Activist Partner Program (CAPP) provides fiscal sponsorship to highly effective and powerful initiatives all around the globe. Each project must be arts or media related and provide a tangible outreach component for audiences and supporters to take action and/or get involved. We are currently accepting new projects on a quarterly basis, but if you’re in a time crunch we’ll do our best to get back to you ASAP. The 2010 submission deadlines are: March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31.
Here’s what you can expect to get out of CAPP:
Fiscal Sponsorship. Fiscal Sponsorship. It’s a fancy way of saying that your project can receive charitable grants and tax-deductible contributions, including monetary and in-kind donations since we’re already set up as a publicly supported 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We take care of the time-consuming legal stuff and administrative infrastructure, so you’ll have more freedom to focus on your mission, project and fundraising strategies.
-
Consultation with Creative Visions founder, Kathy Eldon and select members of Creative Visions Foundation and/or Board of Directors. Kathy has traveled on every continent, and has been honored with too many prestigious awards to count for her work as an international journalist, speaker and producer. She’s been through the ropes you’re about to climb and is phenomenal at providing critical advice, and making strategic connections with other staff and board members.
-
Networking. And you thought Twitter was good? At Creative Visions, we know people... who know people... who like to help people who know other people. We provide an invaluable network of experts and creative activists in the media and arts industry from which to draw and share resources. You'll also be informed about events and online networking opportunities that may support your strategies for funding projects, distributing productions, or expertise in working overseas - just to name a few.
-
Custom page on CVF Website. Each project gets its own page on the CVF website! It’s your space to post photos, project summaries, film trailers and any other information about your initiative. We'll also set up a PayPal link so people can donate specifically to your project.
-
Project Promotion and Publicity. We'll brag about you in our email newsletter to our entire mailing list and will always look out for ways to incorporate your latest news and events into ours.
